Absolutely First Class in Every Way
No shortcuts here! No detail too small to ensure everything about our stay and the property were phenomenal. Every comfort you would imagine you need is provided for you and then those you didn't even anticipate! The property is spotless in every way, modern, and very high quality. This is not a "vacation rental", it is a home away from home. ALL you need to bring is your personal clothing. You can even pre-order groceries and have them delivered. I cannot recommend this property or Lana and Andrey highly enough! Book early though because we will be back!

Well appointed island relaxation
Lana and her family were the bests of hosts. She very actively and effectively communicated before and during our stay to help make sure we had everything we needed. Her husband, father-in-law and brother-in-law all assisted with the logistics of checking in and transporting to and from the island which made it all very smooth and easy. Tarpon Cove is a lovely house and maybe the best equipped VRBO we have ever stayed in. Overall and wonderful experience.

A spectacular vacation!!!
This my families first time visiting North Captiva Island & this place made our stay even more welcoming. Lana had great communication from the second we booked to even after our stay!
We traveled to the island on our personal boats for the week and Lana put us in contact with the right people which all went very smoothly.
The house alone was beautiful, clean & very up to date. Everything you needed for your stay minus food was included! The bright lighting and ocean inspired decor really complimented the stay.
The golf carts (we rented an additional one since we had 6 guests) were very reliable & sturdy, this was a great addition to travel around the island.
Everything we expected + more was included in this stay. Tarpoon Cove was a easy going, relaxing, modern, beautiful stay & we have already expressed our excitement to family + friends about it! We look forward to staying here again in the very near future & HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

Most relaxing place ever!
We had an amazing time staying at Tarpon Cove. The house is beautiful! Very clean, updated and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The house is owned by the most lovely people, Andrey and Lana. They were very helpful in planning all of the details of our trip. When booking Tarpon Cove you talk directly to the owners, we really appreciated the personal connection that Lana and Andrey provided. During our stay we used the kayak and private dock to enjoy the dolphin and manatee that were swimming right around the dock. We all had fun looking for shells and enjoying the calm ocean water. Our family will be recommending this house to our friends and family, we can not say enough great things about the house and the family that owns this house!

Beyond Amazing
We had an amazing week at Tarpon Cove! Lana and Andrey made our vacation experience top notch from the moment we were picked up from the airport. It was so nice to arrive at the beautiful property and have our groceries already neatly put away. And house was also stocked with all comforts of home.. sunscreen, bug spray, Shampoo/ conditioner, huge beach towels, and most anything that you might have forgotten. They go way over the top for their guests!
The house is even better than described, if you can imagine that! And the island is so quaint and beautiful. You’ll never want to leave! We just got home and we’re ready to go back.

Great Home but more importantly GREAT Owners
The property was very well decorated, convenient, clean and well thought out. The amenities such as water toys and beach chairs were greatly appreciated and the golf cart was great. The owners met us at the water taxi, helped bring our luggage to the home and walked us through the ins and outs of the property. They also picked up groceries for us, made referrals for who to contact for various activities as well as rushed over some bottles of water when we ran out. All along the way they were very communicative and we are sure to go back soon.

Best Stay Ever!
Our stay at Tarpon Cove was beyond exceptional. Lana and Andrey were very responsive any time we had a question. Such wonderful hosts that it felt like you were staying with “family”.
The house was beautiful and in immaculate condition. It provided everything you could need during the stay. I am quite picky wherever I stay and although other rentals have been clean, this is the first where I didn’t feel I needed to rewash anything in the kitchen before use.
Since it is an island and there is no grocery store you need to arrange to have them delivered. There is a fee for the service. But when you arrive you will find everything neatly put into place and stocked perfectly.
Additionally you will have to arrange for ferry rides to and from the island. Just keep in mind the last ferry usually runs until 5 or 6pm. So if you arrive later you will have to charter a private boat.
We were picked up in very large clean Sprinter van by Vladimir the hosts father. He was wonderful too! He dropped us off at the marina in Pine island where our water taxi was waiting for us. Once we arrived on North Captiva, Andrey was waiting at the dock to take us to the house. It was all very seamless! You have a golf cart that will be your transportation on the island as there are no cars. My kids loved that!
During our stay we used the kitchen a lot for cooking and had everything we needed. We also ate at Mango’s (by the club pool) and Mainstay. Both were great.
The club pool has 2 large pools and a hot tub our kids age 10 and 7 loved it! We also spent a lot of time on the beaches. Which were breathtaking.
You can spot dolphins on dolphin beach just a 5 minute walk from the house and also Manatees by the docks. There is wildlife everywhere. It almost feels like you are in South America! So many beautiful birds as well.
We fell in love with North Captiva and I’m sure anyone else who stays here will too. I would not stay anywhere else other than Tarpon Cove. They truly care about giving their guests an exceptional experience.
I hope all the guests that do decide to stay here take good care of this beautiful house so that many others can come and enjoy this hidden gem.

Unique Experience
Lana and Andre (sp) have created a wonderful oasis they share with visiting guests. The home is decorated like a magazine, but you can feel the love and emotion they put into it. The island is a great experience that everyone should experience at least once in their lives.

Amazing Hospitality and Property! A Perfect 10!
I can’t say enough great things about the property and the people we rented from. They were so accommodating with every question or need we had. The dock was amazing for fishing and the walks to the beach were nice and short. Good location without a lot of golf cart traffic was a plus too! Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Great rental!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property- the owners were great to work with and the rental was very well appointed. They thought of everything which allowed us to focus on enjoying the island. The private dock was a huge bonus.

Amazing property, super hosts, & great island!
Andrey & Lana should be considered as the perfect hosts. The property is even better than the pictures. Everything in their beautiful home is top shelf. The linens were from Restoration Hardware and the kitchen had every tool imaginable. The island is the perfect place to go during COVID-19. We felt very safe. The dock was an added plus for fishing. I highly recommend Tarpon Cove for your next vacation!!!

Perfect island getaway
Andrey and Lana are tremendous hosts. The house is exceptional and is even better than the listing would suggest. We were worried about figuring out groceries but Lana made all of that so easy as well! The house is very clean and well appointed. You won’t be missing a thing!

North Captiva Getaway
This was our first time in North Captiva, and it couldn't have been more pleasant! The house is absolutely amazing, super clean, stocked with anything you could need. Lana was full of information on food, getting to the island, and what to pack. This getaway was perfect for our family including two small children who had an absolute blast going to the pool and collecting shells at the beach. We cannot recommend Tarpon Cove enough!

Should be Super Hosts!
The Owners, Lana and Andrey, are extremely attentive to detail and good communicators. Getting to North Captiva can be tricky, but they made everything seamless, from food and alcohol pickup in advance, airport transportation to the dock, and a personal golf-cart transport by Andrey from the airport to the rental home. We really appreciated all the amentities of the house: the 2-person kayak, the comfy beach chairs, the kitchen amenities, an array of spices and essentials in the kitchen, extra sun tan lotion and bug spray - they thought of everything! Favorite things to do: reading and relaxing on the screened porch, fishing off the private dock, exploring the island on the golf cart, taking an afternoon swim at the NCIC pool, playing monopoly around the table at night.... this was a wonderfully relaxing and beautiful place to spend time family time. Thank you!
